“Street food as it should be”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013

There are many street food vendors in NYC. This particular vendor is easily recognized by the long queue of people waiting to be served. Food is good and tasty. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Just beware of the "hot" sauce. They're not kidding.....

“Just Average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

# 16 really? It was just average. Gyro meat was bland. Chicken tasted like unseasoned boiled chicken. And this southern white woman makes better falafel. Not sure what the white sauce is supposed to be. Has a lot of mayonnaise. Lots of food for the money though. And the guys working there are super nice. Just plain average food.

“simply amazing food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

I forgot where this was when we visited NY recently. Should have just asked as no doubt everyone knows. I had this about 3 times the last time I went to NY in 2011 and the food is amazing. Big queue no matter what time you go. Cheap and delicious and better than a lot of restaurants.

Go here - you will not be disappointed.

“Delicious street food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

I like street food. It brings a lot of character to a city. I often think twice before ordering, since sanitation can be an issue. Not with these Halal Guys. The most popular street cart in New York, they're almost always busy, and if you want to see a ridiculously long line, stop by during lunch time. You'll see dozens of executives lined up to enjoy a chicken, pork, or vegetable platter for just $6. The food is always moving, never sitting on the grill, so you can tell it's fresh. They've practically become a city landmark. Go check them out.
