I did get the tickets through TKTS, so at least we didn't pay full price. But the problem with a show that's still in the same production, 25 years later, is that all of the annoyingly-'80s things about Phantom haven't changed: the crummy synthesizer music, the over-amplified feeling, the costumes, etc. And why would anything ever change? It's the most successful Broadway show of all time; if 10,000+ people have been happily seeing it in its current form, why would you possibly update it? One wonders what someone could do to make it more fun.

This was a great experience. Our family loved the venue and the play was spectacular. I had never seen it before and am glad it was from a Broadway production. Great job cast!!!

I have seen The Phantom of the Opera in several cities and all productions are always good; whether done by the traveling company or on Broadway. This theater was very nice and the sound was great. View from the Orchestra level on the back left side was good for most of the stage and where the majority of the action occurred. The only real problem was not related to the cast or the theater, but the guest. We had three groups around us that talked most of the time during the show - actually it appears that one or two members of the group were translating or explaining the show to others within their group. That was an unwelcome distraction that none of the staff did anything about during the show or the intermission..

This is an amazing show; seen it in both London and NYC! The music and performances were both stunning- if you love the theatre it's a must see!

It was the best of three shows seen in a week in NYC. The music, the quality of the acts, the scenery: fantastic. It is also a play with a nice content.
