“Love this little place”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

I have been here for brunch twice and both times it was delicious with a speciality mimosa. The one that stands in my memory was a fresh cantaloupe mimosa. They also have delicious fresh tea. Food was excellent and interesting. Will come back.

“Great Brunch, Friendly Staff”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Had a great brunch with friends the Sunday before New Year's. I arranged the reservation for our group of six via email and received a very prompt response. They were also very accommodating when it came to the three month old baby that was with us that day and our waitress was very friendly.

Everyone at the table really enjoyed their food. I had the Green Shakshuka with Challah Toast, which was different from the norm and delicious. The poached eggs in it were cooked very well. For dessert it was the Flourless Chipotle Chocolate Cake. It had a small amount of heat - perfect for me - and came with chocolate mousse and some butterscotch that were perfect compliments.

This restaurant is small, so expect a wait, but it's totally worth it!

“Simple Menu Great Food”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

Had lunch with my family. A simple menu with some great dishes. The greek salad and haloumi cheese starters were perfect. I had a Prego steak sandwich which was incredibly tasty. The Malva pudding dessert is a typical South African dessert which was also exceptional.

I will definitely be returning

“Great food”
Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

Stopped here for lunch with my husband and 8 year old daughter. I absolutely loved the chicken kabob. The food was so fresh and interesting. This was my favorite meal in NYC. The only problem though was that there weren't any simple, children's items on the menu. Even a plain burger had onions in the meat.

“Many visits; always a must in NYC”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

What more to want? An interesting menu. Attentive but not intrusive service. The Lamb on Couscous was a delight in every bite. Reasonable prices; comfortable seating. We return on every visit to New York.
