Owner description: Walkin' Broadway™ has the visitors to Times Square dancing in the streets! This is the best of both worlds: A personable, knowledgeable guide AND the music and recorded narration of a first class audio tour. There is no better place to hear the facts and stories of Broadway’s history, architecture, music, and humor. While personally guided through the Great White Way, the entire tour is broadcast to your own headset so you can follow each beat of the music and hear every word. The music is direct from the Broadway cast recordings. The recorded voices are recorded exclusively for Walkin’ Broadway by some of the greatest legends, performers and luminaries as well as the backstage guys and gals who make Broadway the center of the entertainment world!

“Best Way to Tour Broadway Ever!”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Wow! We saw the article in the Washington Post on the airplane, so we booked it. You wear headsets, so you hear EVERYTHING the guide says and the Broadway music and stars.
It's all planned really well, but here’s the best. William is mature, savvy, enthusiastic and can improv so when the actor’s chapel had a rehearsal we stopped to listen and the chaplin talked with us. When there was an open door to a theater (they were taking lights and sets out) we walked in) and talked to the stage hand. So cool. Our tour was great! Don’t know if you’ll be that lucky – but maybe!

“Fun informative tour guides!”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

I took this tour a few months ago with a friend as we are both big broadway fans and had more fun than i had expected! It was a rainy day so we almost didn't go but we were happy we did. The tour guides were so friendly and fun and I loved having the head sets to listen to some of the famous stars and some bway tunes! If you're coming in to see a show this would be fun to do before :)

“Tons of fun!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

I was lucky enough to have Tommy as my tour guide and I really enjoyed the few hours spent "Walkin' Broadway." I learned a lot and was entertained the entire time. He is so funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He was genuinely excited to be leading this tour, which was very refreshing.

I highly recommend this tour!

“The best 90 minutes spent learning about Broadway history.”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

My wife and I love the tour! It's informative, and takes your imagination away from the rush of busy Manhattan. We had time to find something to do before seeing a Broadway matinee and remembered hearing great things about Walkin' Broadway. It includes an audio tour guide that is as easy to use as a recorded guide through a museum exhibit. The audio was produced by a real Broadway producer, professionally narrated, and well known theater talent included in the audio. You feel like those professionals are walking right with you, telling you anecdotes and the history of Broadway. We also appreciated the tour acknowledging the very fire department that lost so many brave firefighters on September 11, 2001. Another nice thing is, you can take this tour, alone, with a friend or loved one, or in a group. Well worth your time!

“Fun and quick synopsis of New York Theater history”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

This is a short tour (90 minutes) of the history of Broadway. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and well informed of the history of New York theater. This is a well staged tour of many of NYC's famous theaters as told to you by those who made it famous (on headsets). I would highly recommend this tour the next time you visit NYC!!
