I was starving and checked up Italian restaurants On TripAdvisor. Nearest one was Tony's Napoli.
It was about 5 pm and restaurant wasn't overcrowded. Staff was quite friendly.
I ordered a cocktail with vodka, watermelon and rosemary and pasta bolognese.also I asked if the cocktail is sweet (I hate sweet drinks), and waiter told me that not at all...but it was!!! It was sooo sweet!!!
Yet Pasta was very good.

Party of six on a Friday night. Ordered Eggplant Parmesan ,one of the specialties. Disappointed that the eggplant was patties, not fresh pounded eggplant, in an unmemorable red sauce. Lots of cheese on the baked ziti in a red sauce. White sauce over seafood linquine was so.. tasteless and bland!. as if the spices including garlic had no time to penetrate. Every table was occupied and this was a huge venue. the kitchen must have been overwhelmed to get the food out. Patrons like us seemed to be enjoying being together and sharing family style. However the reheated Italian food we took home tasted better. Service was excellent. For NY UES $30/person for Tony's Di Napoli dinner (without drinks and tip) is mid-range. The much superior Italian food at Lusardis costs nearly twice that amount.

We took our adult daughter to Tony's for a casual Saturday night meal, and it more than exceeded our expectations. We ordered the baked clams appetizer, which were great. We wanted the caesar salad in addition to main courses and, at the recommendation of our waitress, split a full order three ways. The salad, made tableside, was fabulous. The three of us split the eggplant parmesan and ravioli bolognese - both were absolutely wonderful. No way could we finish our meals, so we brought home leftovers to enjoy in round two! Not only is the food here exceptional, the ambience was relaxing and very nice in an understated way. The service and Ingrid, our waitress, were the best. We will go back!

First day we arrived at NY we had lunch there.
The cesar salad was delicious and the fact that they mix it infront of you enhances the experience.
All the items we've tried were delicious.
The attached photo is of the cake we tried. It is a BOMB!
I highly recommend this place.
Definitely coming back.

I can not say enough about this restaurant and all the staff that works here. We have been coming often with my 104 year old grandmother, she is in a wheel chair. They have handicap entrance in the back. The staff is so friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate everyones needs. The food is always fresh and hot and delicious. Some of our favorites is there caesar salad and veal parm. Every dish is delicious, you can not go wrong with any item on the menu. You will visited by the management they always walk over to the table to make sure everything is perfect.
Highly recommend for anyone, children are very welcome!!!
