Walked to Tony's from our nearby hotel as we wanted some comfort Italian food......and we weren't disappointed. The waiter said that the fried calamari was the best in town, and he may well have been right and the marinara was to die for. I had the "small" eggplant and veal entree, and the fried eggplant in sauce was better than momma used to make, and the veal was good as well. My buddy had the ravioli bolognese and it was a hit as well. The tiramisu was fantastic, while the Tartufo was just ok...not very tasty. Love the vibrant family atmosphere on this cold winter night.

Very tasty Italian fare and a decent, cost atmosphere. Staff were great but maybe our waitress let the side down a bit (but she was a European and is here being judged by high NYC standards). Other than that, great place for large groups who want decent drinks and hearty food.

Read the reviews and they were all quite good so we tried it. My wife and I loved it. The waitress was fantastic and helped advise us not to get too much because portions are huge. Had a pasta (fettuccine bologenese) and the chicken with eggplant special & they were top notch. Worth the visit, try it!

We made a reservation here last minute on a Saturday evening, the place was super full so we were expecting service to take a while. Boy we're we wrong. This restaurant is ran with military precision. We were seated immediately and served within minutes! For the two of us we decided to share a half portion of parmigiana and a half portion of tagliatelle alfredo. Without appetisers this was just the right amount of food for two, we even had some room to share the tiramisu for dessert.

Great atmosphere even though it was very busy and delicious home cooked, simple comfort food. I just wish we came with more people so we could share more dishes!
