My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in February, 2014. We got the AAA rate of only $117 a night, which is amazing for Manhattan. The hotel is very conveniently located just 1 block from the Delancey St subway stop and in the heart of the Lower East side. We walked everywhere we needed to go - LES, East Village, Soho, Chinatown. Tons of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
I had requested a quiet room because I'm 6 months pregnant. We were put on the top floor in a corner room. It was a great room - almost brand new, nice bathroom, great bed, really nice view looking all the way out to the new Freedom Tower. The room was quiet but not totally quiet - we could still hear sirens and taxis in the night time and were woken up a few times by people in the hallway. I think because of the location and price of the hotel it attracts a lot of young people - it seemed like there were lots of parties going on. But what can you expect for this price?
I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. While the room was small, it was functional, very clean, and almost brand new. We had a nice TV, nice toiletries (Bath & Body Works), a really nice tiled shower, and a great view. We will definitely stay here again!More
