“Great theater area lunch spot!”
Reviewed December 23, 2013

Ate lunch here after a friend recommended. Made a reservation before a matinee show on Saturday. Great weekend brunch menu- lunch included a bloody mary or mimosa for $16! Great deal. Ordered grilled ham & cheese which was very good (large portions too).
Interior is beautiful old Victorian architecture. Decorated for Christmas, which made it even more charming. Really cool inside. Also heard they have great happy hour specials. Our total for lunch and 4 drinks was $60...incredible value for NYC!

“Great for pre-/post-theater!”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

A friend of ours recommended Lillie's for a post-theater drink and I've been back once since. It's a great looking Victorian bar with good beers on tap and a nice selection of mixed drinks and wine. They serve a late night bar menu which was great after seeing a show. We enjoyed the nachos on our first visit. When I returned I had a spinach salad with scallops which was good - I would've liked more scallops, but otherwise I was pleased. Some friends met up with me later and everyone loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the food and drinks as well.

“What a hidden Gem”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

It was our last afternoon in NYC, the weather had turned and we wanted a place to while away a few hours on the Sunday afternoon. This place was fabulous.... Jazz band playing, wine and beer flowing the staff were friendly, the clientele chatty (as someone living in London that is such a lovely novelty!)

Only wish had had longer to stay. Will seek it out again on our next visit

“Great ambiance”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

Just a nice place , comforting atmosphere. Old world charm and warmth. Cozy yet spacious. Right in the heart of the theatre district. Food was promptly served, fresh and tasty. Wait staff pleasant and attentive. Huge long bar. Music was a little loud though.

“Don't try to get in during happy hour”
Reviewed December 10, 2013

this place is lots of fun -- decorated with the objects removed from some old house in Ireland (I think I have that right) so great ambiance. Our waitress was fun and very friendly and the food and drinks were great. But you can't get in the door at happy hour. We didn't even try to go until after midnight. But never the less, it was well worth a visit.
