“Meh, it was so-so”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

It's called something else now, but it's look is unmistakeable. I was happy to be there if only for the history. Food was good, we had breakfast. People are friendly, it was nice to watch the passers-by.

“Worth The Walk ...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

I read about this 1950's style diner and its interesting history, and so we decided to take a walk to the Chelsea area of Manhatten where this dining car, built in 1946, is situated at 210 10th Avenue on the corner of West 22nd Street. The food was amazing, the burgers were the best we had eaten in NY, and the service friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we took our American friends there for lunch the following day!

I tried to review this Diner in May when we visited NY, but it was not listed, and if you try looking it up on the internet the only information about it is that it closed in 1976, maybe that is why there is only one review on Trip Advisor - no-one knows about it?

All I can say is that is that we loved it. The Black and White decor and high bar stools are all reminiscent of the 50's Diners in the movies. There's seating outside where you can watch the world go by.

Worth a visit in my opinion.
