If you want the Times Square area, this hotel can't be beat. Just a half block away. Theaters an easy walk away. Arrive early in the day and ask for a quiet room. We got one at the back and slept just fine. Rooms are rather Spartan but clean, and bed was comfortable. Front desk friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room.in back.

Hotel is a bit tired but we found it ok for a stay of 7 nights. Very handy for Times Square and two Irish bars in the street that did great breakfasts. Lots of building work going on in street but that seems to be everywhere in NY. Bed was fine, not hard at all but comfortable, a bit small - certainly not Queen sized. Bathroom was fine.

Room Tip: Rooms at back are quiet.

NY is a loud city, it's a fact but this is ridiculous. All night honk, bang, holler...get some insulation or something. This would be fine if you were hard of hearing but for those of us that can hear, it's awful. The wallpaper is peeling, carpet has bald spots and the employees disinterested. Oh, and don't miss that they charge for local calls.
Not a good value.

Room Tip: Loud, subpar service, great location. Not a good value.

We are a family of three and we were given the family room, 2 queen beds at the top floor and the back part of the hotel. The room is really HUGE in NYC standards, it could fit a family of 6, the bathroom was also big and clean. Overall with the price of this hotel plus the accessibility to times square makes this a wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and they help out with the luggage and hailing taxi's. There was a deli downstairs open 24 hours and a food truck serving really good kabab. Opposite this is citibank atm, and the bicycle stand where you can rent bikes. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time all through out. We would recommend this to all our friends visiting NYC.

Room Tip: If you are 3 or more, get the 2 queen bed room. It is really large with lots of space for your lugga...

The hotel is only a 2 minute walk to Times Square , the entrance hall is clean with access to computers and printer and rest rooms , the staff that I met were very cheerful and helpful , the room I had was a double with a bathroom a small built in cupboard with iron and board , telephone and large tv on the wall and air con - no safe or fridge - when you check out there are lockers for your case,s for $5 if not leaving until later on in the day , the only thing I found was that it needs a bit of redecorating and new carpets , otherwise a good place to stay for the money,
Would book again

Staff fantastic & so willing to help with any questions. Rooms ok but it's NEW YORK who wants to spend all their time in their rooms? Location to EVERYTHING was amazing, 2 minute walk to Times Square & so many theatres within walking distance. My daughter & I had 5 fantastic nights here & we would recommend the Hotel to all.
