Our greeter Jenny was wonderful, full of knowledge and local tips. We went to Grand Central Station and she took us through a side entrance so that we got the WOW factor. Left to our own devices we would have missed the initial impact and the view i would have expected to see. After this we went to the Public Library again an amazing building inside and out and so the day went on. I would thoroughly recommend this service for a first time visit and Jenny was amazing

Our greeter was wonderful. Barbara took us to the New York Public Library, the Grand Central Terminal and then we walked around the Garment District. She was very informative about the area. Barbara had a few addresses for us to check out Sample Sales. This was great and very New York feeling. We felt like we got a different experience than just checking out the usual tourist attractions.

Thank you Big Apple Greeters. We spent a lovely few hours with Walter and it was a pleasure to visit the city with him. We visited the High Line, Chelsea market, East Village, Soho and more. It was nice to meet a local to get a real feel for life in New York. Just a tip, try and meet your greeter at the beginning of your stay so they can give you info on the city such as using the subway and areas worth visiting. Thank you Walter

Last week we did a tour with our greeter Joel Weiner. What should I say? It was fantastic!
Mostly away from the typical tourist spots, he showed us a lot of fantastic buildings and interessting neighborhoods in Morningside Heights, Midtown, Gramercy Park, East Village and Lower East Side, Chinatown and Downtown. Time was running so fast! Joel knows a lot about his city and he told us many interessting storys, so we saw and heard things that we wouldn't find out by ourselves.
And he gave us many advices what to do and to see on the other days.
We strongly recommend big apple greeter and Joel.
Thank you!

Our guide Dan arranged a brilliant tour of the East and West Villages and a walk along the fabulous High Line. Dan was very courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He even went out of his way to help us obtain tickets for a Broadway play by avoiding the long queues on Times Square. Highly recommended
