We were visiting NYC and decided to take advantage of the advertised special of "2 slices and a soda for $2.75". The pizza smelled great and they had about eight different selections of pizza in the display counter. The slices were a good size and the toppings looked very tasty. However, when we got to the register to pay for the pizza, the total was double the advertised special price. The staff then explained that price was only for the plain cheese pizza (located in a second display case AFTER the cash register). When I asked why that information was not included on the sign out front and why the cheese pizza was in a different display case the staff suddenly stopped speaking English and began laughing amongst themselves. Bait and switch is never a good tactic in business and staff who aren't accountable for those methods should be ashamed. The food tasted good but the business left a bad taste in my mouth.
