We stayed here for 4 nights, ask for a room high up, the views are amazing. We had no problem with noise from outside, the windows are pretty sound proof so had a great nights sleep. The front door staff were great at getting us taxi's which really helped as we found this hard in New York. The front desk staff were ok, but just ok. This hotel is away from the mix of everything uptown, but the links on the subway are superb and you are a 15 to 25 minute subway journey from everything else. You are right accross the street from Cenntury 21 and a 10 minute walk from the Staton Island Ferry. A good place to stay when visiting New York. We stayed in 4 places in America on our 2 week trip and this was the ONLY hotel to charge for the wifi....perhaps time for a re-think?

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up

We had a junior suit on the 60 something floor, great views from big windows on two sides of the room, one way over the Hudson River and the other across town.
Suit had a small siting room with sofa bed and an arm chair, desk and TV, our daughter slept their and reported the bed was comfortable; nice bathroom, and the main bedroom had a big TV, a super king bed that was also super comfortable and lovely bedding.
The hotel does have a pool, but we didn't get round to going, was minus three outside so didn't feel the need but would be great during a hot time of year.
Near lots of subway stations. There are lots of places around to have breakfast, we didn't try the hotel food .

Room Tip: high floors for that real NYC experince

The millennium Hilton has a view of the world trade center second to none. Rooms are very nice, service is excellent. This is the best hotel in lower Manhattan and maybe in all of New York city. The restaurant and bar are simply perfect. MY only complaint is that there is no spa.

When my kids and I decided to crash my husband's latest business trip to NY, we picked this hotel because it has a pool - which is lovely, and we usually had it all to ourselves. It's also VERY close to the Fulton St. Subway station, which takes you to grand central or 59th via express train 4 in 10 or 15 minutes flat - fantastic. If you need an elevator (as I did, for my heavy double stroller), there is an uptown elevator a pleasant .4 mile walk away by city hall. The downtown elevator is right by the hotel. We usually enjoyed street performers on the way to the subway, and once stopped at the plaza for incredibly delicious "waffles and dinges" from the truck there. My kids loved the view from our window of the ground zero construction, though I imagine some people would find it depressing. If you stay in the neighborhood, you're very close to battery park, the Staten Island ferry and the Brooklyn bridge. We come to NYC often, and plan to return to this pleasant property the next time we want an indoor pool. It's not particularly special, but it's very easy and comfortable, and met all the diverse needs of our eclectic group - my busy husband and busy preschoolers were all very happy - and it's across the street from Century 21, so I didn't have any complaints, either!

Staying on a business trip. The room is very clean and comfortable. Great view of the WTC and New Tower. The windows must be very thick because I can't hear any street noise. (I am on the 43rd floor). Service has been excellent. I sent my shoes to be shined and they were returned in 20 minutes. Very friendly service. What a nice surprise! Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the city. However, rooms very small and basic and we found the staff terrible! The doormen and concierge were top class, just a pity about the reception staff. We went as a huge surprise trip for my husbands 40th and expected alot more. The beds were very comfortable and the view from our room was amazing(30th floor) The breakfast prices were extortionate which is why we chose to eat elsewhere and there was no meet and greet from reception, not even a Thankyou for staying or did you enjoy your stay with us. Overall a great hotel and we absolutely loved NYC,just a pity about the staff at the hotel.

After I got past the new york attitude that I completely forgot about, the hotel was nice. The bed was crazy comfortable and they pillows were pretty good. Like I said...no free wi-fi. Costs $13 a day. Guess who went without wi-fi for 4days. Also for $27 at the their restaurant you get bacon and eggs. Seriously! Room was on the 24th fl and looking right at ground zero and the new wtc bldg.

Room Tip: Smoking is on the 8th floor. Not a smoker so asked for a higher floor
