“Very good experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Interestingly, it is spelt with just one N in the Millenium, and I assume this was quite possibly a spelling howler and it was too late to correct. The hotel has 57 floors, and I had requested an upper floor and an early check in ( about an hour and a half earlier than normal ), and both requests were met at check in. The welcome by the doorman was warm, the check in was swift. The elevators are super fast. The room was spacious and well maintained, with a large television, excellent beds, lots of pillows, writing table and chair, another lounge chair with foot stool, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee making facilities, excellent mini bar and snack drawer, and very good lighting. There was also complimentary mineral water. The quality of the bathroom supplies was excellent. The only thing I missed was bathroom slippers, and there are no bath robes.

Wifi is good but not free. It costs about thirteen dollars for 24 hours. TV channels are numerous, the hot water in the shower excellent.

There is a small but excellent indoor heated pool that i loved. I did not use the bar or the breakfast facilities or restaurant.

The location of the hotel is a major plus, close to many attractions including Battery park, and the World Trade Centre memorial. My room in fact overlooked the new WTC building, and the memorial pools. Very impressive views indeed. There are three subway line stations almost next door, so getting away anywhere is very easy.

The staff were very helpful for any questions we raised, particularly the concierge.

Would love to come back again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the WTC if you wish but do remember it is still a construction site

The Hotel is next to the Ground Zero our room has a direct view over the ground Zero .
The room are of a good size and clean and the service is acceptable. The restaurant of the
Hotel is hopeless and the food quality and varieties are appalling!. Other than that everything else is okay and the hotel location is great next to the Century 21 Outlet Mall and next to the subway
The financial district is very beautiful and quite and the hotels rate are much cheaper compare to
The Times Square area. I will stay here again and I do recommend the Hotel.

Room Tip: Ask top floor and on the Ground Zero side. The view of the river is breath taking

I have stayed at the Hilton many times. It's location is good for the office but only shop really close by is Century 21. The rooms and corridors could do with a paint and a little updating. I suggest forgetting eating at the hotel restaurant as you won't be impressed. The bed are ok, I sleep well each time but the building work can be annoying. Forte price though, all in, it's a good place to say and then travel around the city.

I've used the hotel 3 times, including 2 trips for business several miles from the hotel, and like the location immensely. Very convenient to subways, with PATH trains to and from New Jersey just across the street. Tribeca is only a short walk away and is clearly booming with restaurants and upscale development. The WTC site is obviously fascinating, but I just like the neighborhood as a jumping-off place for staying in Manhattan. The hotel is spotless and I've never had any complaint about the facilities or the service. Not cheap, but no worse than any comparable hotel and they often have online offers that make it reasonable. It's now my favorite hotel in Manhattan.

Room Tip: Basic room is not huge, but it's a good size. Higher floor may be quieter during WTC constructi...

My daughter blocked out several rooms for her wedding. We checked in and the carpet was wet from shampooing which made for a slippery bathroom floor. The bridal sweet smelled like smoke even though the floor is non-smoking. The revolving door sometimes stops by itself sometimes trapping you.in the revolving door. Some of the bellmen spent their time goofing off and one was harassing a customer and blocking guest exit to the street. Despite being right next to the construction site of the WTC it was still quiet. Being next to Century 21 is nice too. Business center is too expensive so no one uses it. Nice exercise room. Indoor pool but it is hot in the room as no AC. Bed was comfortable even for my bad back. Very convenient to the subway as it is right outside the door. Only restaurant is on the 3rd floor and does not open until 7 am. Lobby is small with a bar. Taxi's are conveniently located outside the lobby.

Room Tip: There are two different sides of the hotel. Stay on the one with a view of the WTC 1-30 floors rathe...

We recently booked a Junior Suite room on Priceline at the Millenium Hilton because it was cheaper to stay downtown then in midtown. When I used to live in NYC, no one went downtown on the weekend. Now, with the 9/11 Memorial, the area was quite busy so it didn't have that deserted, barren feel I was expecting. The location of the Millenium was excellent for visiting the Memorial, centrally located between multiple subway lines, and an easy walk to the Financial District.

Our room offered a phenomenal view. We were in room 1611, located on a corner, with an L-shaped bank of windows overlooking both St.Paul's and the Freedom Tower/North Pool. The sitting area is quite separate from the bedroom area, making it semi-private and quieter for someone on the pullout. Just note that this is a pull out loveseat, not a pull out queen sleeper, so it would only sleep one adult (but two kids fit fine). I felt like the room was fairly spacious for a NYC hotel -- could be all the windows. It was clean and well appointed. Not brand new but fine and the view was what I was focused on.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times on separate occasions. This Hilton property is in a great location for visiting lower Manhattan, Little Italy, TriBeCa, Chinatown, LES, Seaport, Ground Zero (across the street). There is a Starbucks around the corner and Century 21 (shopping) across the street and location is convenient to multiple subway lines. The Bar is great to have some some drinks at pre-dinner and the buffet breakfast is on par to most other 4-5 star hotels. The property has a lovely indoor pool and Adequate gym. The bedding is wonderful and fresh daily.
The hotel is very clean, efficient and very spacious for a NYC hotel. Concierge was very helpful when needed. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as it has excellent value in NYC.
