WOW is all I can say. Almost every room faces Ground Zero, The Freedom Tower and the Hudson River. The WTC rises!!

Front desk staff were a little too process driven and could have been a bit more customer oriented. The bell staff and security staff on the other hand were personable and fun!

Rooms are decent sized. Especially for NY.

Great location to all downtown Manhattan has to offer. It is a little noisy right now as construction continues on WTC - even at 20+ stories up. But the noise is a good reminder of The U.S. will not be kept down.

Starbucks around the corner. Although in NY there is a Starbucks on almost every corner.

The view is the really only big WOW of this property; but it's a clean, safe and in a great locale.

Found the business centre outrageously expensive and very confusing. Hotel OK - view outstanding, but had trouble getting the limo service to pick me up as police just kept everything moving! Midtown probably would have been better!

The hotel is located 1/2 a block from several subway lines and is an easy walk to the boats for the Statue of Liberty. The junior suites are incredibly spacious (especially by New York standards) and work very well for travel with young children. The view from the rooms overlooking the World Trade Center construction is simply amazing, and kids have a great time watching the cranes. (If your room does not have a view, you can see the site from the second floor restaurant.) Concierge friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Husband and I stayed for two nights in late Spring to see a Broadway show and take in the local scenery. Our room was clean and modern but the most memorable part was the view of the WTC site. The bathroom/shower was very large and spotless. We stayed in a room on the 52nd floor which faced the Freedom Tower and we could look down at both reflecting pools.... a sight more memorable than the play we attended. Centrally located, we never ordered anything but coffee and breakfast and chose to eat out for all our meals. Concierge service was friendly and helpful. Expensive but it's New York.

My 13 year old son and I stayed here for one week in july this year. Very happy with the whole trip, including the hotel stay. Large corner-room on the 39th floor, high standards all over, breathtaking view. Loved the swimmingpool, so nice and relaxing after a long day in the big apple. The only backside was the pricey breakfast and the ignorant waiters working there. Sorry guys....it`s just not good enough in a classy hotel like this. The food itself was good though.

Room Tip: Get a cornerroom, they are larger than the others.

There is no better place to capture the scale of the 911 attacks, and the rebirth of gleaming new skyscrapers, rising from the ashes. Our entire company stayed at the Millenium Hilton for a weekend. What a great American experience to mourn the deaths of so many and celebrate the collective soul of our great nation. This hotel is a front row seat to the patriotism, freedom and will of America. Go see the history of your nation!

Room Tip: Be sure to sign up for the 9/11 tour online, and print your free tickets before you go. And make su...

Dear Ken14,

We truly appreciate your positive feedback about the hotel and could not agree with you more... Our views overlooking the 9/11 Memorial and new towers are quite an emotional view with a lot of deep meaning and feelings of patriotism behind it. We are so happy you had the chance to experience and enjoy it! We hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future.

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. Well I knew what to expect from the hotel as we tend to stay in Hiltons quite a lot - well trained staff, freindly but not pushy, efficient. I really meant what it was going to be like looking out of the window directly onto ground zero and the ghosts of thousands of tragically wasted lives. But it was fascinating and curiously uplifting to see three new towers rising from the ruins - the first one, WTC1, is almost finished and is a truly beautiful building, expecially gorgeous when lit up at night. It's so typically NYC to say to the world: you knocked down two, we're building three. I just love that attitude. And to those who complain about the noise from what is actually a 24 hour building site, I can honestly say a) you can hardly hear it through the double-glazing, b) it's a lot quieter than midtown hotels with constant NYPD sirens and endless traffic and c) it's actually a privilege to sit and watch this piece of symbolic reconstruction. The rooms on the 29th floor, by the way, were spacious and clean.

There are several other reasons to stay in the financial disrict. It's well connected for the subway; it's close to Battery Park and all the ferries; it's quiet at night and there are several museums within walking distance: NYPD, American Indian, Skyscraper, Money (on Wall Street).

So yes, we will return when we go back to NYC. Good hotel, good people and an awesome view.

Room Tip: The higher the better!
