“Whoa! whatta pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

Went there solo on a business trip, and boy, was it a good choice. I had the fried pizza (I cant recommend it enough), which arrived super-quick. You can watch via TV the staff making the pizzas and working the stone oven... fun stuff. I know pizza at its most basic is easy, but the quality of ingredients easily makes this pizza stand out... everything was fresh and tasty. Don't hesitate to try this place!

“Gluten Free Pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

Want a small local oriented gluten free pizza parlor? Don Antonio's is situated between 8th and 9th ave on 50th. This is one of those smaller pizza parlors with just enough spaces to allow you to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of a local restaurant. The hand formed and wood fired pizza was incredible and ready in a minimal amount of time. Price point was excellent for this location near the theatre district.

“Delicious and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2014

My dad and I had lunch at Don Antonio on 2/6 and had a wonderful experience. When the hostess was seating us, she asked where we were from, and when we told her Pittsburgh she said that the owner Roberto used to have a place in Pittsburgh. Roberto happened to be there and came over to our table and spoke with us for a few minutes about his restaurants in Pittsburgh. He was then kind enough to send over a couple of pieces of the montanara, which was delicious. I had the margherita pizza lunch special, which was also amazing. Very fresh ingredients, and fast service. I would definitely recommend Don Antonio!

“Amazing Pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

Don Antonio has the best Napoli-style pizza in New York for an affordable price and with a friendly service. To me the pizza here has been one of the best I have ever eaten in my life, including in my Italian. It is really worth a visit!

“Very Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

Two owners/chefs from Naples would seem to guarantee great pizza right. WRONG. In retrospect a pizza with burratta is probably a bad idea as it has too much moisture. But our other pie was just a Margherita and and the crust on it was soggy too.
