My headline kind of says it all! You wan to come here after a night out of partying and you are hungry but may need that last round (or five). Great place.

Friendly staff, licensed, interesting versions of waffles (with frozen custard and chocolate suace) french toast (stuffed) and other breakfasts that had things like fried plantain, corn on the cob and avocado on the side.We liked it enough to eat there twice.

Visited the Bowery twice whilst in NYC for a late dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent. On one occasion I had a burger which was extremely good and my wife had the Calamari starter which could easily have served as a main course. Great ambience in the diner, and prompt and friendly staff.

Visited here for a late lunch, decided to order the SPECIAL, Trout BLT. Ordered the featured wine-a ha! They were out of it. Okay, forgiveable. Waited for meals...and waited! Waiter seemed to be in a different time zone, even though restaurant not crowded. My "Special" Trout BLT was MISSING the bacon! Had to send it back. BFriens's Reuben overloaded with sauerkraut, not much meat

Decor hete is cool, wish food matched the ambiance. At best, a good place for a drink and nosh at the counter/bar.

We ate lunch here on a recent trip to NYC.
The diner itself had very standard decor and was pleasant enough.
Service was slow.
Food was reasonably priced but very, very average.
When we had finished our meal we mistakenly left a hat behind in the booth, we returned to get it in less than a minute and it was gone. No diners left in this time, no one was sat near our booth, the only people who had been near the table were staff from the diner cleaning the booth. We brought the theft to their attention, but with the exception of one member of staff no one was interested and the manager even questioned whether we had a hat in the first place! I will leave you to draw your own conclusion regarding the culprit.
DINERS BEWARE - average food with thieves operating in the diner.
