This lovely small hotel is excellent value. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed large and very importable, and the hotel surrounded by restaurants, bars. The Wall Street subway was a short walk away and Soho, Tribeca, and Greenwich Village a longer but still easy walk. There is a small and under utilised gym in the basement. When I arrived, there was an Oktoberfest in Stone Street, a small, historic, cobblestoned street behind the hotel. Great fun. The free Internet connection was very fast and the included breakfast not extensive but tasty. Highly recommended!

This is a small hotel close to the financial centre in New York, in a relatively quiet street. The interior is a bit dated, but still relatively charming. Rooms are pretty much OK and not too small.
Service is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic continental, but quite sufficient. The only negative I found was a noisy air conditioner that could not be switched to silent, which made the night less comfortable than could have been.
There is no restaurant, but plenty of options in the area.
Overall, not a bad experience and very convenient if you need to be in this area for business.

For my brother's wedding we rented out about 20 rooms of this hotel. The location was ideal for the wedding and for a small hotel it provided great service and good amenities. The rooms are decently sized for normal hotels and even large for NYC hotels. I live in Manhattan and stayed two nights and am rather happy. The jacuzzi tub was a great amenity and a fun way to end a partying night.
The breakfast was ample also.
I avoid the financial district as I don't have much need to be down there but If I were coming for a visit or has business I would definitely consider this over the nearby chain hotels.

Room Tip: The Corner rooms are best.

The price, compared to other hotel choices, might leave some doubt about the Wall Street Inn. However, the value is tremendous. Smaller rooms and very basic continental breakfast, but clean and comfortable. Dining, some site seeing and subway station within easy walking distance. Nice little wine/liquor shop next door a bonus. I will use this hotel again when visiting NYC.

Room Tip: Be sure to get a room on the street side rather than the side with the restaurants and bars. I understand from other guests that night revelry can get a bit loud.

I stayed here recently for a business meeting but had a couple extra days to explore the city. Despite being far down in the Financial District, I actually found the location to be fine. There is a lot to do in the area, including a brick pedestrian street next door with cool bars and a great bakery. It's easy to get to most of Manhattan because several subways lines fan out from the southern tip of Manhattan.
The hotel itself was clean and my room was very bright and a decent size. The decor is fine, if a little heavy on the classic hotel chintz. The bathroom was small, but very clean. The room didn't have a minibar, but, IMHO, a little fridge for me to use was better.
Friendly staff and responsive too. There was a problem with my safe when I arrived and they had someone up (a manager, I think) within 10 minutes.
