I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is really good. Among the best Indian food I have had in NYC. The restaurant had a nice a cosy atmosphere and above all we were treated in a very very warm and welcoming manner by the owner. He was very accommodating to our needs. One of our best dinners in NYC. Very memorable and I will return whenever I am next in Manhattan.

We came here on a Friday night and the staff was friendly and very good with water refills (a must!).

The food was absolutely delicious. The Chicken Korma was the best Ive had and there regular and garlic naan were top notch.

The wine list is lacking a little bit BUT the prices and service and overall amazingness of the whole evening make up for it.

Easy to get to, near the subway, and again, such good value.

The food was both what you would hope for, but also really interesting. Lovely wait staff and thoughtful wine list. I'm a pepper ice cream convert!

We came here for a late night dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was brimming with flavor, without the unnecessary heat. The Kolkata Gobi and Samosa Chaat were perfect appetizers. The Chingri Malaikari (shrimp in almost sweet curry) was my favorite entree. The breads and ice-cream are made in-house and also wonderful. The owner is lovely and made our experience even better.

We visited on a Saturday night, making a reservation through their website. The owner was very gracious and attentive. He definitely made us feel right at home, and even sent out a dessert for us to try. The food was delicious and very affordable!
