“Awesome Food and Wine but Mixed Ambiance”
Reviewed March 20, 2013 via mobile

The food and wine are excellent. The lamb shoulder and the chicken confit are amazing! Don't miss them. I have nothing bad to say about any of the food front the nuts to cheese to entrées. Our waiter was knowledgable about the wine list enough to recommend selections and tell us some obscure facts about Viongier.

If you have the option sit in the dining room. We sat at the communal table in the middle of the restaurant, which was quaint, but the constant floe of staff the hang and retrieve coats was distracting.

“We came for the wine but loved to food”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We came for the wine but loved to food. We had a very good server who helped us with both selecting the food and wine. The décor was attractive and comfortable. You don’t need to be a wine pro to enjoy the experience. Friendly staff.

“Awesome Winebar”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Stopped in for wine tasting and appetizers. What a lovely establishment with Charm and Artfulness. Magnificent wines and food. We loved the Brussel Sprout appetizer. The service and atmosphere is just delightful. Must try again on our next visit to New York City.

“Equally delicious wine and food.”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

We went here for dinner and loved it. We sat at one of the tables next to the bar. There are big community tables in the back, a long bar, and some tables in the front. We waited a little bit for a table but it was worth it. Really cool atmosphere for a wine bar. We had the bone marrow which was my favorite. They sprinkle a little cheese (Bayley Hazen cheese which I have not had before) on top and roast it so you get the delicious bone marrow and a little bit of a salty crunch from the cheese. We also had the lobster pasta, which had big chunks of lobster and homemade pasta. The scallops were melt in your mouth good, served with a corn puree. The servers were very professional, friendly, and attentive. I look forward to going back when I am in NYC again.
