Wife and i enjoyed a piece of excellent pear tart!! Went back next day to buy the entire cake and sold out by noon (apparently the norm for Sundays) but the lady behind the counter was very sweet about it. Bought a couple of croissants and sandwich instead and they were also excellent.

Why go to a horrible coffeshop or diner when you could get better right here! Seriously, try it! If I ever get to France they'll have a hard time beating these guys.

100% recommended. Great bakery, great ice cream and nice and friendly staff. We had a great time there. You can eat a tasty burguer in JG Melon and have the dessert there.

After i found out about their Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich on Fox 5 News, i was so excited to try it. I tried the Coconut Mango flavor ($5). The idea sounds like a sweet way to pull off the summer, but the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich was ok! The macaron itself loses its texture, because the ice cream was so frozen, causing the macaron to taste like a hard frozen cracker. However, the macarons were delicious and fairly priced ($2.25 per piece), so you wont be breaking your wallet by coming here. My favorite was the pistachino (green) flavor. The desserts were also good and not too sweet. Service was good. Love the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Will be back to try the other desserts and macaron flavors!

Mais oui, croissant, Opéra. Éclairs, baguette, sandwich, etc
Un petit coin de Paris délicieux!
I tried both, Upper East Sde and West H. You may argue that one is an elegant pastry shop with a restaurant while the other has more of the Paris boulangerie flair offering croissants, pastries, vienoiseries, aka danishes, sandwiches with few tables. I would not hesitate. The service downtown is warm and charming! Too bad they do not make it even more French with something to read and FRENCH MUSIC!
