Great French toast, eggs, coffee - the owner is a typical NYC guy, great little place to sit on a stool at the bar and have breakfast....yum!!

Everything at Johny's was right! The price, portions, taste and service. It's just a little hole in the wall, but the food and the service was great! To top it off the prices were very economical. They make you feel right at home, like if they known you for a long time. There's no tables just a bar that sits about ten people at a time. Great value in New York City.

Me and my sisters went here on the fourth day of our New York, having given up on the so-so diner connected to our hotel and I am so glad we did! It was by far the best value breakfast I have ever had, $8.75 for two sausages, a pile of bacon, half a plate of homefries, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 slices of toast and tea or coffee!!! There was enough for all 3 of us on that meal alone!
Excellent food, lovely staff, unbeatable prices!

This is the real deal. Counter service only, take a seat, ask for a coffee and you're on your way... We stopped in here for breakfast. The value is outstanding. Big breakfast consisting of eggs any way, bacon, sausage, toast and pancakes for $8. And the coffee is thrown in for good measure. Service is brisk and efficient. Not overly friendly but that isn't what you are here for. Lunch was just starting as we left, and some of the sandwiches/subs looked outstanding. This is well worth seeking out for a great New York experience.

Everything about John's was perfect, the food, the price, the service. I was there during Passover and would you believe they served Matza brei! And it was delicious. You've gotta love New York. No tables though. Just a counter with stools. But the other customers moved over to allow us seats together. It's that kind of place.
