This restuarant smells of sewage right at the entrance. Would not have bothred me much if the water they served did not smell the same. Their sanitary rating was pending when we went there, so that explains pretty much everything.

They do 50% off deal in the aftoon, please dont get duped coz for that price you will only be served with 50% of the portion size they serve in the normal hours.

Please do double check your bill before paying coz they overcharged me for a drink for which i luckily remembered the price.

Staff is very lathargic, slow and sad. Most unpleasant and boring ppl secured jobs in this place. They look like forced labourers, especially the girls.

For the price they charge for the food served, poor is an understatement.

We recently found this restaurant on YELP b/c we were in the financial district and had no idea where to go for some decent indian food. We stumbled upon this restaurant and loved it. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The breads ( naan) are amazing especially the one with raisins and nuts in. The chicken and lamb tandoori were also very good. The couple next to us raved that it is their favorite place in the neighborhood and said everything is good on the menu and they were correct at least for the items we ordered. Also, if it is any consolation, the place was packed with people of Indian decent...now that is saying something. Check it out..great place! Cute decor as well.

Booked though Open Table. We were surprised to see a "B" rating on the door. We have always avoided anything less then an "A". Food and service was fine, and for the City reasonably priced. If we are downtown again we will re-visit if they get the rating upped.

I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order from here, really. A block away from 911 memorial, follow your nose to the smell of curry. Had a vegetarian dish and a chicken dish among friends. Everyone's food was spectacular and was surprised by how affordable it was. Tip: Bring your own wine...I don't believe they serve alcohol.

We had lunch here in November. The restaurant is tiny, but the staff were attentive and friendly. The lanterns on the ceiling were very pretty.

We shared a starter (Non-vegetable platter) and then I had the Chicken Makhani and my husband had the Shrimp Balti. We had a pilau rice and a naan bread to share.

The food was plentiful and delicious and I would recommend it.
