“Very good”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

I visited Tertulia on May 2nd and was pleased with the dishes I ordered. I can't say it was the best food I have ever had but it wasnt on my least favourite list. I had the grilled escarole, which was very good and the roast pig cheek with quail egg which was excellent. I actually ordered it twice. If you are hungy perhaps you should go somewhere else, it is a true tapas style restaurant.

“Fabulous flavors”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We loved, loved, loved Tertulia. We were visiting from out of town when someone suggested Tertulia. So glad we went before the play. The artichokes were out of this world as was the charred escarole. I think that the char was one of the best plates of the night. My only comment was that the plates are not so small - they can easily accomodate 2-3. We will absolutely be back.

“Tapas? What tapas?”
Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Tapas are the small amazing little dishes of wonderfully prepared food items one gets all over Spain.
Calling this place a tapas restaurant is deceiving in the extreme.
The food has nothing in common with tapas or Spain. A total waste of money.
Avoid please.

“Not the ordinary tapas!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We ordered the cured meats and serrano ham to start. Very tasty meats! The cocktails and sangria were delish! Our server was knowledgeable and knew the ingredients well! He confirmed what dishes had dairy and what could be adjusted to exclude dairy. The octopus was well grilled, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very flavorful! The brusselsprouts and lamb/lobster mushroom skewer was also delicious! The mussels were tasty and cooked nicely, but missing sauce. Definitely, worth trying this place!

“Unusual restaurant - simple but excellent food”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Spanish restaurant with all home-made hams, sausages, etc. Wait staff was very helpful with recommendations. The bread with fresh tomato served with serrano ham was delicious. Casual and comfortable. Ask for a table in the back by the kitchen.
