We had been wanting to eat at Forcella for some time and recently had the opportunity. We wished we had tried it sooner. The restaurant is very casual (and very family friendly - if you want a quiet slice avoid early dinner hours). We had the Parmigiana di Melanzane and Insalata Amalfi for apps. The salad was wonderful - the slightly bitter raddichio and arugula perfectly offset by the sweet gorgonzola and pear. The eggplant was good but predictable. But we came for the pizza di Napoli and were delighted with the dishes. The crusts were the same we have found eating in Napoli - tasty, a bit charred, light - the perfect bases for the toppings. We ordered a Pignasecca (caramelized fennel, burrata and sausage) and Porto Capuana (burrata, arugula, prosciutto and pecorino). Each delivered as promised. Unless you are starving a single pizza can easily serve two; we were lucky to have leftovers for the next day's lunch. For dolce we truly enjoyed the hazelnut truffle with chocolate ice cream. We were made believers and will be returning soon. Hopefully you will enjoy as much as we did!
