My sister and I stayed here for 19 nights from mid July to beginning of August. I had chosen this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and the fact it only opened October 2015, which made it new, clean and fresh. Our stay did not get off to a great start, I won't go into details but I will say I expect my hotel room to be clean and serviced daily. After discussions with hotel staff and getting no results, I decided to speak with General Manger Gwen Lytle, who did her best to resolve the issues and to her credit she did follow through on her words. Overall we ended up enjoying our visit to NYC...Hotel cleanliness is very big on my list of things, as far as I'm concerned it is make or break, if you read any of my other hotel reviews on Tripadvisor that is my biggest complaint about hotels and why I try to choose brand new ones....I would like to compliment one of the housekeepers Lydia who ended up cleaning our room for approx. 15 out of our 19 nights....thank you Lydia, you did an amazing job, you went above and beyond to make our room outstanding...if only this had happened on our first night I would've given you 5/5...would I stay here again or recommend this hotel to family or friends.....sorry but no!!
