Unusual and fresh Chinese food. Some dishes are more successful than others. The portions sizes are pretty small.

“Great food , not so great 'server'”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

we ate at the newer edition of this restaurant on Broadway in the 70's. The atmosphere is casual and busy.Maybe a little noisy and bright for some people. Not somewhere for a romantic date. super fast service , relaxed it ain't ! We got there at 9pm during the week and while the sevice was efficient I felt the 'server' was a bit pushy with his choices of what 'worked' . He also neglected to offer us any drinks ( we don't drink, but that's not the point). As a european , it can be hard to tip someone who does appear to see you as anything other than a 'cover'.
Having said all that , the food was fantastic . The dumpligs are really good, rich , juicy and moreish. The arugula and mango salad was light and tasty. There was a steak marinaded in papaya as a special , and it was , really special . This place only gets four star because of the server. The food is a five!

“UWS location for Red Farm.”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

UWS location for Red Farm.

Having been told by a local the Red Farm was this new great place i decided to check it out

pro's. the seating staff was very helpful, busy but kind and found us a spot in a reasonable amount of tme. The Bar staff were very busy but attentive and much better then the wait staff. ok food. Food is very fresh and well cooked. The crispy skin chicken was very juicy and fresh . the pork buns were ok. the hot and sour soup was sweet

con's bad service at the communal table. we were waiting at the bar and got a pair of seats at the communal table. we waited about 10 min for someone to come by. no one came by, we wound up going back to the bar and getting our starters and another round of drinks in the time we waited not getting service

if you wait to get your food in reasonable time, eat at the bar, better service.
if you want authentic Chinese goto main st queens or china town manhattan,

“LOVE”
Reviewed November 20, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. After trying almost the entire menu, I strongly recommend the following dishes for the best experience possible:

- Yuzu- Wasabi Shrimp
- Kowloon Filet Mignon Tarts
- Katz’s Pastrami Egg Roll
- Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings
- Wide Rice Noodles, BBQ’d Roast Duck

... you're welcome!
