I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves real Italin food.
The place also serves as art gallery, and they paintings are for sale.

They burnt our pizza and the waitress told us that was the way it should be. But later a laday that seemed to be the person in charge gave us the apologies and offered us the dessert and coffee at no cost. Too pricey for what they offer, the place is beautiful.

The trendy interior is the first thing which attracted me when I entered the restaurant. The walls are decorated with contemporary artworks which are for sale. I assume they change the works from time to time just like an art gallery. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, modern furniture and cool music. Fortunately unlike the trendy image the food is traditional Italian . Their prosciutto and arugula pizza was one of the best I ever had. Fantastic crust and fresh ingredients.

This centrally located midtown small but boutique looking place, is an hidden gem among the countless italian resraurant in the US. Every detail is authentic neapolitan, from the impressive circular wood fired oven, to the very attentive and knowlegeble staff. Anyone who wants to taste the real , authentic, neapolitan pizza, has to go either to naples , or stop at Pizzarte.
Beside the pizza, they have a short, but incredible, classic neapolitan dishes and wines.
Service is prompt and non rushing. Prices are reasonable for a manhattan located eatery where everything is imported. Anytime in NYC a stop at Pizzarte is a must.

We wanted pizza and wandered in here while walking around Midtown. There was just something about the place that seemed pretentious. It may have been the clientele. The people sitting next to us seemed overly demanding of this small place.
We ordered one pizza for the two of us and it was the perfect amount. We had portabella mushrooms, ham and cheese. It was good, not great. But we made it out without breaking the bank.
