You can imagine a group of creative directors from an international advertising agency in town for a meeting wanting 'to be seen' here.
If you don't mind mind being jostled by other ill-mannerd diners in the bar whilst waiting for your table and hustled along before you're finished to clear your table for the next punters, go here for some really innovative cooking.
The concept's great, small but well conceived and well cooked dishes to share.
Service very attentive (needs to be to explain how it all works), but sadly let down by being presented with the bill/check before we'd even been asked whether we wanted coffee.
So we rejected the bill, ordered coffee and stayed 30 minutes longer!
Original decor and very noisy, but if you want to go to one of the in places in NY, then go here.
We were very grateful that our New York friends chose and invited us to this place.
