Our guide, Kevin was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable about each location on our tour sharing interesting historical facts & comparing them to modern day events, which made them feel very relatable. It was a very cold day, and he managed to keep us engaged, delighted and informed while ducking in and out of warm places to shield us from the weather. We did the downtown tour and the Gilded Age Tour and he kept us fully entertained & engaged the entire time. I will definitely return for more & recommend him to family & friends.
Kevin Draper was simply outstanding. He was knowledgeable beyond belief and the entire two hour tour was great. Insider information, tons of tidbits and historical snippets, jam packed amount of seeing and learning. Dan lead our tour at 9:00 am! It was an amazing tour! Dan has a wealth of knowledge about the gilded age in NYC! He makes the tour so interesting! Great tour guide! We enjoyed learning all about NYC during that period of time! Also, we had a college and high school senior with us, they enjoyed it as well! We highly recommend this tour! We thought it was very refreshing to take this type of outdoor tour while in the city! Run don’t walk to book this tour! You will not regret it!

Kevin Draper led us on this 2 hour private tour starting at the Plaza Hotel and finishing on Museum Mile. He is a wonderful historian, teacher and guide and told the story of the turn of the century millionaires, industrialists and business people who built their fabulous mansions alongside Central Park and who helped create the city - and built the nation. This was an outstanding tour - the most interesting and rewarding experience we have had in numerous previous visits to New York.
