We actually visited the L.A. store but bought a pair of kicks online from the NY store. Greatest selection of hard-to-find kicks in the U.S.

Overpriced. Misleading appearances(the wrapping around the shoes conceal a lot of flaws) and obnoxious sales people. The online service? Even worse. Good luck getting them to pick up their phone or respond to your emails, which if they do, are also unbelievably rude. Couple that with god awful processing time and you have yourself quite the pickle.Worst sneaker boutique in NYC or LA hands down.

As a sneakerhead, I should have had a religious experience stumbling in here. Then I realized that I'm a student and had bills to pay. I understand the allure of an exclusive shoe. I even almost lined up for a pair of Diamond SB dunks a few weeks ago that I may have kept in a box until 2018. But this place was absurd. The resale prices made me want to re-evaluate my life and put a down payment on a house.

That said, it was cool seeing some Nikes that'll never be worn or sold again. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It's like a museum. Look, don't touch, and get the hell out of there before you get collection agencies hounding you for that pair of Air Mags you got on vacation in Manhattan that one year.

Not worth the trip to NYC! The staff is the rudest! Don't go!! Go somewhere where your money is appreciated. I tried to ask one question & the person wouldn't even turn her head to look at me. Really...they just don't care.

Flight Club is the holy grail (or it would be if there wasn't already a store in LA by that name) for sneaker collectors/fans/heads.
If you like sneakers, this is it. They have all the big name brands, all the big name kicks and colourways, you name it they have it.
But! Remember - they're a consignment store. They don't stock retail. So what you're buying is a shoe someone else brought to the store to be sold on their behalf. With a rate of about 80/20 you're looking at often higher than average resale value on kicks. Buying here though, comes with a guarantee of authenticity - and that's what brings in the customers.

Most kicks line a wall, wrapped in shrink-wrap plastic for protection. The harder to find and therefore more expensive kicks, are found in a display cabinet in the corner.

It's kind of a touristy thing to do for those with sneaker love, but definitely do it even if you don't intend to buy - it's too much fun not to.
