We went into this knowing its troubled history, but with two kids, age 11 & 13, we decided we wanted a "Broadway Stage" experience plus something the kids wouldn't moan about watching. And to be fair, there are some spectacular elements to this show. Great stage sets and of course some really cool web swinging. But unfortunately the pacing of the show is just really bad. I shouldn't be dozing off in the middle of a Broadway play based on an action hero such as Spiderman, I shouldn't be dozing off in the middle of music put together by Bono and the Edge. But it happened. For our show, there was no real chemistry between Peter and MJ. Dr. Osborne/Green Goblin was the main acting highlight.

When Spider-Man is flying this play is thrilling. When he's not - eh. If you love comic books perhaps it succeeds on more levels. We sat in the front row of the first balcony and those are excellent seats for seeing the action.

Loved the play and the edgy stage design. Wonderful when they soar out over the audience, which they do multiple times during the show. Great fun.

Great for the whole Family!!! Especially if you are a comic-book action-adventure fan. You can buy tickets ahead but that's usually full price. Try the TKTS booth behind the red bleachers at Times-Square or go directly to the theater an hour before the show and see if they have any seats available.

My husband and 12 year old son saw this show and absolutely loved it. There was so much action and they were sitting in the box seats over the stage (flight deck area) and my son said spiderman touched him once. He was so excited!
