The hotel is staffed with attentive, friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the housekeeper. The 24 hour snacks and coffee is appreciated as well as the wine and cheese afternoons. The rooms are small but well appointed.

This hotel is very sweet and charming. The amenities are wonderful and the service super. There is a rooftop bar with trees and views of the library, and is extremely well located. The service was very attentive.

Room tip: The mythology room was very spacious, on the top floor, and a corner room, with lots of windows and a view of the library!

It is the best hotel I have been to in Manthatan. It has the luxury of a 5 star hotel, the theme is amazing. We had a meeting on the terrace of the hotel and the food was very good. I loved the theme of the time of wine and cheese.

Room tip: Excelente bed, excelente view of Madison and National Librery.

our stay was really pleasant. the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. the service is nice and the wine and cheese at 2nd floor was a very good experience. Perhaps, more smiles from the personal in charge of the breakfast would be a good idea. I strongly recommend this hotel !

We have stayed in a different hotel every time we visit NY but will definately go back to the Library otel, it is a firm favourite. The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and friendly and go the extra mile to make you welcome and comfortable. We mentioned it was my husbands birthday during our stay and came back to our room to a lovely bottle of red wine and a card from The Librarians, thank you!

We had a petite room, which was so cosy, comfortable and clean (housekeeping do a great job, they are unobtrusive and there is a turn down service). We had two large windows, aircon, tv & dvd, fridge, bath and shower, complimentary toiletries, wardrobe, drawers, a safe, large mirrors, great lighting and a very comfortable bed. We were on the 11th floor (Philosophy!) which was far enough up to not be troubled with street noise, we slept soundly as there were no banging doors, noisy guests or elevator noise.. bliss.

The complimentary breakfast was plentiful, fresh and there was a great variety to enjoy with your complimentary newspaper in the lovely ambience of the Reading Room, overlooking Library Way, with a view of the NY Public Library. You can make use of the Reading Room and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks 24 hours, as well as prosecco, wine and cheese every evening from 5-8pm. Things like this make the hotel a comfort you look forward to returning to, rather than just a place to sleep.

There is a business centre with two internet pcs and printer, with free use. The hotel has a very popular restaurant, Madison and Vine and room service is available at a very reasonable cost. There is also a roof terrace, bar and lounge.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Grand Central, Bryant Park, Fifth Avenue and the subway all within easy walking distance.

Thank you so much to all of the Librarians for making our latest stay in beautiful New York City a memorable one. We will see you again.
