I stayed here for the first time the Fri and Sat before Sandy arrived. The location is perfect for shopping in midtown Manhattan, located between 5th and 6th Avenues, it's also only a short stroll from Times Square and the Theatre District.
While not cheap; I don't believe the term exists in Manhattan; it had everything required. My double room was an adequate size, bed was comfy and shower was good, only gripe was there was no shower gel only bars of soap. I was also surprised that on the 12th floor I could open up my window fully, a word of warning for anyone travelling with children.
Free WiFi and free bottled water was very welcome, as was being able to borrow an international charger. Printing off boarding passes is made very simple with a dedicated PC in the members lounge.
I only took breakfast in the hotel on the second day, continental breakfast was reasonable value at $11 and the dining room is very pleasant with crisp white linen and silverware, a nice break from coffee on the move!
I didn't spend much time in the hotel and unfortunately did not have time to use the leisure facilities but I would stay again based on this experience.More
