Had lunch two weeks ago on a visit to NY, great salads and burgers, nice space, clean and quiet, lunch was early on a Thursday, maybe that is why it was quiet.

Thank Brenda S

beers were great as well as all sandwiches, but was disappointed that we could not get an entree 30 min early from the dinner menu...

We had a nice lunch here on Saturday and discovered that brunches that include all you can drink options can get rowdy with groups of people having a good time. We simply had a beer and a hamburger. The hamburger was done nicely and on a good roll. The fries would have been better if warm and crisp. Our waiter was friendly. We were happy with the lunch, and we got used to the younger guests in a big group screaming at each other. We would eat here again, but not at brunch unless we were drinking more…

Ate here twice during our stay of 3 days principally because it was so convenient as we were staying at the Inn on 23rd in the same building. On both occasions we had a well cooked meal accompanied by some great beers served in a friendly and professional manner. Very busy on the Friday night we ate there and very noisy, but we liked that. Good range of choices on the menu from sandwiches, burgers totasty and well cooked fish dishes. Very reasonably priced and we got a 25% discount off the food as we were staying at the Inn on 23rd.

My boyfriend and I have been eyeing the Guilty Goose for a few months now. We're always looking for good brunch places and thought the menu looked decent and there's generally a crowd in there when we walk by.

We tried it this past Saturday and it was below average.

Upon sitting down we were brought ONE (for 2 people) piece of cornbread...fine. We then ordered omelets, which took a really long time to make, and when they finally came, they were:
a) cold! The vegetables inside mine were not warm at all, and the eggs were runny.
and
b) alone on the plate! I have never been somewhere for brunch that serves eggs without toast, or greens, or fruit...something!

I would say the only draw of the Guilty Goose is the option to have a bottomless brunch. Drinking a ton of mimosas is the only way to make this food better!
