I stayed for a week at this hotel. The room was spacious, with a small but efficient kitchenette. The hotel position is strategic for visiting New York; you can reach a lot of interesting places just on foot

Very clean, nice, spacious room. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and attentive. Gym was reasonably ok, not too large, but clean and practical.
Location is excellent, only one step away from main streets but in a not so busy street.

Dear Kristina F,

Thank you for your spectacular review. Our location on 50th Street and Lexington Avenue is great. We are a short walk from premiere shopping along Fifth or Madison Avenue. Making your way around NYC is a pleasure with Grand Central Terminal 3 blocks away and the number 6 Train subway station on the same block as the hotel. I am glad that our friendly staff was able to help you during every part of your stay.

Our group was completely satisfied with our recent stay at The Benjamin. The hotel is in short walking distance of the Subway, Grand Central Station, St. Patrick's Cathedral & great shopping on 5th Ave, coffee shops for a quick morning run, and several cafe's for a great breakfast or brunch before heading out on the town. The staff fulfilled our every need with a smile. The rooms were spacious and the pillow menu made sleeping even better!
Hopping on the subway one block from The Benjamin got us to Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Ground Zero, Central Park and more in a matter of just a few short minutes. It was much easier than the "tour bus" or "taxi." This hotel comes highly reccomended and we will be staying here on our return visits to the city!

Room (suite with small kitchen) was excellent - large and well-planned. Location is perfect for getting around midtown, and to GC station. Only problem was that I had to pay for the internet service and the ac sounded like a jet engine in my room (couldn't have it on and sleep/watch tv at the same time.

This hotel was recommended by a friend. We had a very nice corner room which has a separate living area with a sofa bed, and the receptionist accommodated us four in it by installing a roll away bed. This saved us some money, as we had reserved two rooms thinking we would not fit in one. Although we thought it was going to be less expensive, it was worth the price. The location is very centrical, four blocks away from Rockefeller Center, and walking distance to Central Park. The restaurant on the 1st floor is very nice, although kind of crowded bar in the afternoon. The lobby is small and the elevators are small and insufficient, making you wait for a while if you are going in or out at check to hours. We asked for a late check out (one hour more) which was granted at no extra cost.

Dear Antonio A,

Thank you for a terrific review! Our 209 rooms and suites are newly redesigned rooms by Rottet Studio. Our team loved to hear that you chose to stay with us based on a recommendation. Our location is superb. We are on 50th Street and Lexington Avenue. We are within walking distance of so much in Midtown and beyond. I appreciate your feedback on our elevators. We are always looking for ways to improve service. I am so glad the team took care of you and your request for a late checkout.

My sister, girlfriend and I stayed here for a birthday celebration in April. We were upgraded to a suite which was the first indication that it would be a great stay. The service was so accommodating and friendly, Anya and Sarah at the concierge desk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful in arranging theater tickets for us and sending up a special treat for our birthday celebration. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy yourself. Everyone was professional and friendly from Omar the manager to Taju the bellman and Mohammed the doorman. We visited the National for breakfast, lunch and drinks and were equally impressed there. I will definitely be back.

This is my favourite hotel in NYC. It is located in Midtown, the concierges are very kind, specially Miss Anya Orlanska. If anybody can make it happen that´s her. She got me tickets for almost 15 broadway shows even those that were sold out. Hartman on the frontdesk will solve any problem you have. They both make you feel at home and this is so valuable when you are 8000 milles away from your country! The national is a very good restaurant with great breakfast menú. My only complaint will be for the doorman: Missing in action!! A great Hotel! I hope I ll be back soon.

Room Tip: I ve been several times and all rooms have awesome views, are sunny and extremly confortable.
