I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. This was my second visit within the past month, as I travel over 100 days per year, and this property is at the top of my list. It is a destination, and clearly a very popular one. The staff is extremely attentive, and I was very pleased in every aspect of the experience. At one point, i called the front desk because i had trouble with the advanced electronics in the room. Within five minutes, a hotel representative arrived and gladly explained the features to me. The room was very comfortable, and all the amenities - spa, gym, restaurants - were all outstanding. I will definitely be returning soon. Joe F.

Hotel is captivating-you actually feel like you are dreaming, especially when you are walking up the stairs to the pool! It is for sure the place to have an unforgettable time in city-however if you are looking for a quite hotel-this is not it.
Staff are extremely personable and genuinely interested in what brought you theis beautiful property, from the minute you walk ythrough the door. Very friendly and accomodating.
My husband and I had an interesting night-everything was perfect-until it was time to go to sleep. Unfortunately we all know that you can't control who your neighbors are at hotel and ours were partying all night well into the morning. When I called to complain for the first time at around 1:30, security was there instantly. They left, it got quieter, and shortly after they were gone, the noise began again. This went on for a while until we finally got our room changed. It was offered to us after about 2 hrs of headache and we finally took the hotel up on the offer at around 5am-partying still had been going on. The gentleman making all the noise was banned from the hotel-defintely in their best interest!
We were finally able to get some rest in a beautiful suite-we should have taken it when they first asked, but we thought the noise would stop. Spoke with Carly, one of the the hotel's head managers, in the morning who handled the situation professionally and totally made it up to us.
The Dream is lucky to have her there! We will be back for sure-pool is a true gem is the heart of the city-it actually makes you want to forget about the Hamptons-they even have a man-made beach-so cool!

We stayed at the Dream hotel for a week starting June 21st 2012 and loved it!!! The hotel is a great combination between a perfect location, amazing service and fun! This is not my first stay at the hotel yet it was the first time that we stayed with our baby girl. When we arrived at the hotel we were a little worried as this is much more of a party hotel with friends than it is a family hotel suited for a 5 month old baby. Yet, as we are still "young at heart" we found that this combination worked very well for us! The hotel provided us with a crib and baby shower and the staff was highly attentive to our needs. We recommend staying in the higher floors (we moved from the second floor when there were parties going on during gay pride weekend in the room next to us).
Everyone on the staff, especially Natalie Berns at the concierge and the bell staff on all days but specifically Sunday afternoon the 24th of June were extremely helpful, kind and we felt at-home throughout our whole stay. To summarize - Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

Dear Ade E - looks like the "young at heart" got rewarded! Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad you overcame the perfectly normal mom and dad concerns. Babies want to have fun too - and easily sleep right through it! Congratulations on the little one - enjoy the ride. Best regards - AXEL

Stayed for four nights in June. The rooms were way cool with modern industrial design and all the amenities. The staff was extremely friendly. And this place is in a great location: subway stop down the block, short walk to cool clubs and restaurants in the meatpacking district (not to mention the club actually in the hotel). The well-stocked mini-bar didn't hurt either. Pricing is affordable too: cheaper for what you get than many other hotels in the area. My room had a small outdoor balcony area also.

The entire hotel was a little intimidating when entering on a Saturday night at 2am. (check in) but we learned to love the place over 12 days

All the workers were very nice and available. Room service was fast and the bell men were terrific... Everyone were well dressed and respectful. Also I was able to do a lot of networking there view that I was there on a business trip.

Stayed with a friend for 4 nights in June - Loved this place, it is absolutely different from all the hotels I stayed at previously!

Ideal if you are with friends and want to party: roof-top bar and terrace turn into disco from 4pm in the evening. Parties and music I think suit any age, i.e. seen people from 18 to 50 there. Bar on the 2nd floor with the swimming pool are great. On the weekend the main lounge downstairs turns into its own party with a DJ, bar and restaurant.

Could be a bit loud if you are travelling with kids or seeking a rather quiet get-away. However the noise reduction system seem to work perfectly in this hotel: we came to see New York and did not party everyday, so needed proper rest for most of the time after walking the whole day.

Rooms have awesome, "spaceship/submarine-type"metallic design, not huge but are very comfortable, especially the beds - it was just impossible for us to get out of it how amazingly soft and comfortable it is! we still talk about it with my friend and compare beds in other hotels we stayed at after NY trip!

Not that much storage space - for 4 nights it was ok for us, but if you are staying longer and have a lot of stuff with you - may end up having quite a messy room.
Bathroom has all the essentials (incl. hair conditioner), mini bar is awesome with full range of drinks and glasses for it. Wi-fi in the room was working fine as well as air conditioning.
Very nice, polite and helpful staff at reception and bars.
Liked the location, we walked to many places from the Hotel. Otherwise tube stop is very close.
