This restaurant has only had its current owners for the last two years so any reviews older than that are null and void. This is the first time that we have dined at this restaurant but certainly will not be our last. I really do not know where to start, service and food very good, location and price excellent. This is a very small restaurant seating no more than 40 people with a very small bar. It was located a short walk from our hotel (Belvedere on West 48th), literally 2 doors down, our theater (Richard Rogers), a couple of short blocks away and Times Square, a couple of more short blocks away. We went for an early (5:30 pm) pre-theater dinner and were a bit surprised how full the restaurant was but we were immediately seated for our 5:30 pm reservations. The entire wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, service was prompt but not rushed. Now for the food, since we had eaten a late lunch we skipped the appetizers and went right to the entrees. We had the shrimp scampi with linguini and the seafood fra diablo over penne, both meals were very good. Having grown up in an Italian household with a mother who was an excellent cook I reserve excellent Italian food reviews for the very very few. We both had a glass of wine and one bottle of Poland Spring water, the meal also came with garlic bread. We ordered one dessert, lemon sorbet. The price was reasonable for an Italian restaurant in any major city but given NYC prices it was a steal. I have actually paid more for breakfast for two at Lindey's deli than I did for this meal, the bill came to $82 which included an 18% service charge. We returned to the restaurant after our show for leisurely coffee and dessert. Dessert was a large cannoli and the largest order of zeppoli I have ever seen. Coffee, dessert and a Sambucca came to $31 again including an 18% service fee and all was excellent.

Had a super meal at Patzerias. Went there based on TA reviews and was not disappointed. Shared a pizza with my husband and the staff entertained our 2yr old daughter whilst we enjoyed our meal. Reasonable prices and huge portions! We will definitley return. Great atmosphere.

Cozy NYC pizza joint convenient to Times Square. The was good, perhaps not great. Service was very friendly except when I complained about a bad tasting Budweiser, I still had to pay for it. Also, an 18% tip was included automatically for a party of two. That is not my definition of "tip". a tip should never be automatic, except for large parties.

Liked the coziness but decor was messy ad a bit too casual decorated more like a pizza gyro sub place and not like a sitiwn restaurant. The food would taste better with a nicer atmosphere. Food was not bad thought. Pizza was good, individual pie was a lot for 1. Salads were good as was pasta, all served hot.
Happy friendly atmosphere. Not a date place, but good place to take noisy kids and large families.

We have been to NYC several times & had walked by the Patzeria numerous times so this visit we decided to go in & are we ever glad we did!!
It's very deceiving from the outside & you can easily walk past but I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Nice, cozy atmosphere, & excellent food no matter what you choose--breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Even if you don't want a full meal you must pop in for their desserts!
Joe & Maria are wonderful hosts & you leave with new friends!
Our girls even got a special treat & got to meet the cast of "Annie" while dining one night! They were thrilled.
Everything on the menu is a good choice & the location is great too--a very short walk from Times Square & beside the Belvedere Hotel.
Thanks Joe & Maria, we can't wait to return on our next trip to NYC!!!
