Description: On the beautiful Mediterranean coast lies a city on the southwestern side of Turkey. It is the capital city of Antalya province. Situated on coastal cliffs, Antalya is surrounded by mountains. It is known as one of the most beautiful places in the world...This is where Antalia Restaurant`s inspiration is rooted. AnTalia Restaurant serves authentic Turkish dishes in the midtown area. The pre-theater crowd loves there Prix-Fixe menu that serves 3 course meals for only 19.95. This lovely restaurant serves its guests in two floors. Second floor is a great way to have a private party or dine quietly.

On our visit to new york, we wanted a inexpensive yet authentic Turkish dinner. The service was very personal and food, even better! In all the experience was absolutely amazing! I recommend this to anyone interested in a good Turkish meal.

Not much to look at,but step inside and a warm welcome awaits from the friendly staff. A good choice of authentic Turkish dishes and wines at reasonable prices for midtown.

we went to An Talia on a social living coupon. It offered two apps, two entrees, bottle of wine and desert for $49 or, as they claim, a value well over 100 dollars.
The place is dimly lit but pleasant and we were warmly greeted. The server was gracious (my partner said bordering on obsequious).
Warm bread appeared (which was a highlight of the meal) and once we announced the living social coupon a new menu appeared.
The apps were good (calamari and borek we chose) but were miniscule. The mains were limited (there were choices but we were directed to to gyro platter and lamb/beef kebabs.
The gyro was swimming in sauce, tasty and very large quantity. The lamb/beef kebab seemed heavy on beef, overcooked, and non distinctive)
Desert were two very small portions on an adequate backlava; no choices and the wine drinkable with limited options.
With tip (on what be full bill which we tip on) of $20 plus the total cost was 70 dollars so not the greatest value. They also have the same dinner "special" for two 50 dollars absent wine and other discounts.
While the waiter was pleasant and engaging the server took our plates while we were still eating (or tried) to for each order yet the restaurant was half empty.
All in all it is an ok spot but we wont return.

Right next door to our hotel, this restaurant looks unimpressive at the front, but go right through to the back room: quiet, comfortable; an army of totally responsive, friendly and helpful servers; and the food -- sublime: we loved the Esme (very spicy), spinach/yogurt, and red lentil cake appetizers; the Dorado fish was rich and delicious. One of us had a Turkish beer (great) the other a dry white Turkish wine (REALLY dry). Our meal was totally satisfying. You can't go wrong. A woman sitting at the table next to us, after overhearing our satisfied sighs, told us she's a regular....based on her testimony, you can't go wrong here.

17 W. 45th St.
Recommended by a Brooklyn native, this was a great return to Turkish culture. We had the Doner (the Turkish version of Gyros), manti (pasta stuffed with ground beef served in a yogurt sauce) and zucchini cakes. Suggest spitting orders! Staff is Turkish and most gracious.
