“Good for Movie Fans”

I enjoyed my time in this place.

Has a lot of celebrities and public figures that really look so real, so real that it I sometimes found a bit creepy.

The annoying thing is that it has several ones around the country but they don't have the same characters everywhere, which makes you wanna go to the other one because it might have some people you like even more.

The 4D movie is nice.

“Lots of fun!”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

I wasn't sure how much would enjoy this before I visited but this surpassed all my expectations. We had lots of fun taking photos with all the 'celebrities'. You are bound to find someone you just have to have your photo taken with.

Bizarrely the waxworks look more realistic in person than in the photos you take. Must be the flash glare!

The collection is just the right size so that you are not overwhelmed and don't feel short changed too. Gift shop was a bit pricey so we didn't buy anything.

It's good value too with the New York pass and you get to skip the queue. We spent the extra and upgraded for the 4D cinema which was also very well done.

“Disappointed in New York City”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We really looked forward to this visit- actually our first thing we did once we settled in to our hotel. It was very expensive- even with the NJ Transit coupon. It was so crowded it was difficult to view the wax figures. It is a photo free-for all, so if your young child wants to have his picture taken with Johnny Depp, be prepared to get pushed aside by over zealous grown ups. People don't wait in line for a turn but just jump in front of others. They mess up the hair and clothing on the figures- which supposedly cost $220,000 per figure to produce. There is not much input from the people who work there. There are several floors however, they all are so packed it is difficult to see all the figures on display. They have a live actor haunted exhibit which is for children 12 and older. The animated 4D Superhero movie was fun and definitely help make up for some of the disappointment. Not worth the price of admission.

“Good family attraction”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Unlike other wax museums we've visited you can touch the figures and have your photo taken with them. Great place for families -could spend a few hours here.

“Worth the wait”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

This was the second one I had been to. The line was a little long, but I had a blast while I was inside. I went solo to this one I have to admit it is much easier if you have someone with you to take pictures of you with the different people. I still had a great time, and look forward to checking out the next one!!
