Found this on our last night and it was beautiful. Couple of glasses of champers in a romantic environment. Need to go to NYC again so I can go to this place

We've had a couple of cocktails at the Campbell Apartment on our recent honeymoon to New York. It was late on a Sunday night and we found the place quiet and intimate with great comfy sofas and a huge fireplace! The cocktails were excellent, the staff very friendly and the exterior very stylish. I would definitely recommend it for a romantic night out!

I found the Campbell Apartment an excellent venue for an after work or late-after work high ball. The vodka tonics are properly chilled and strong. The room has a great mix of professionals and folks just checking out the lore of the room. Besides the historic elements, the Campbell Apartment offers New Yorkers and tourists alike an opportunity to take a journey back in time and soak up the luxury of an era long gone.
Hell, you don't have to be in adverting to love this place. Men, come well dressed and prepared to throw back a few real drinks, you know, like the vodka tonics you order in abundance from a proper steakhouse.
So don't walk, run the the Campbell Apartment. You can't miss it- Grand Central Station- Main concourse.

Drink up!

Do you ever feel like you're part of a secret? When you discover a place that takes a little research and persistence to find? We circled Grand Central twice in our search for Campbell Apartment. You must enter via Vanderbilt--though, from the west bank you could cut through the tables of a restaurant that shares parallel real estate on the upper level.
It seemed like the perfect place for a Manhattan. Our server was quick to tell us of the storied history, adding to the seduction and allure of the space. It's so romantic with the dim lighting and privacy of the seating arrangements.
This was our favourite cocktail stop in all of NYC. The $17 Manhattan is authentic and boozy! On the contrary, the short food menu is actually reasonable--though we had just made our way from lunch at a nearby Irish pub.
I could have sat there well into the evening, marvelling at the the space, the posh details and true sustained feel of the prohibition era.
