We went to the Green Flea on a VERY hot NYC Sunday. First we visited the Green Farmers Market behind the Museum of Natural History and ventured 1 block south to the Green Flea Market. In the hot NYC summer, it is best to go very early before the sun comes over the top of the market. The day we were there, many vendors actually opted not to open. Honestly, we lasted about 1 hour total (if that) and had to go across the street to the restaurant to hydrate and cool (sorry forgot the name of the restaurant but it looked wonderful and did a Sunday Brunch which we will try next time).
