We stayed here for about 9 nights and my oh my were we amazed at the location. It was situated perfectly close to everywhere in Manhatten. You can walk to Time Square, the Public Library, Empire State Building, The high line and more.
Very close to a a vegan fast food place called blossom du jour for those who are vegan like my partner.
The room has chromecast built into it which is great for streaming from your phone but be aware it is a bit tempremental.
Another great thing is the view. I mean any room you get will have one because the hotel rooms start from the 7th Floor which is quite high up and where the rooftop garden starts.
I liked the general japanese influence which was minimalist but i have to say i would have liked just a bit more room for my belongings. Only really two little draws & about 7 hangers to hand your things up so we lived out of our suitcases pretty much which wasn't ideal.
Another drawback was the smell of the lower elevators and base lobby. It smelt of cheese and sick but you only walk through this for about 1 minute max. Still they need to get on that soon.
All in all, very good location. Clean rooms. Polite staff. Rooftop garden is ok. Would probably use again.More
