It was my fist time in NY and I and my boyfriend, after a long research, we decided to book this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised..modern location, friendly staff, beautiful and clean room, great position with restaurants, subway station (blue line) and convenience stores nearby. Time Square is very close so you will not need a cab to reach it.
We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this hotel.

Really liked this quirky hotel. Very modern and in a good location to access most of Manhattan by foot or bus or subway. Rooms are small but more than adequate and have great views from them. Comfy bed, clean rooms, great tv with a great choice of channels, loads of power sockets and an amazing big head power shower.
Only downside is that to go to the toilet or shower you have to have the blinds pulled right down else all the people in the blocks opposite can see right in. Can’t comment on the staff as I didn’t need to use them as check in and check out is all done electronically via the self check in machines. Simple and quick to use. Would use this hotel again for sure.

I've stayed at a lot of different hotels in Manhattan and this was the most interesting of all. Pros: the bedding and towels were clean, heated towel rack, rain style shower with good hot water, window opened to allow fresh air and location was good. Cons: miniature room, odd smell and a/c system either freezes you or the room is immediately muggy, "experience fee" added to price, supposed free luggage storage that they charge you for, very impersonal feel and the charge for a view.. isn't much of a view- but was better at night.

Missbecca00,

Thanks for sharing your comments on your stay. We are super happy to hear you enjoyed our linens, heated towel rack, monsoon showers and floor to ceiling windows. We are disheartened to hear about the HVAC issues you faced and will address this. We do hope you consider us in the future.

Best regards,
Joseph

Spent a night here before a cruise. We visitited Central Park and timesquare by walking no problem. We even walked to Manhattan cruise terminal the following morning it took less than 15 minutes. The rooms are a little small but the shower was incredible so much water. I would stay here again before a cruise for sure.

Good location, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. You can attend a convention, walk to and from the convention center. No need for cabs. Find a casual dinner not far away. The room has all you need to conduct business, watch TV, get ready and get some sleep. No unnecessary frills to pay for.

Room Tip: All are fine. I suppose a corner room has more space, but if you aren't going to NYC to hang out in a hotel room, then location of the room and how many windows it has probably doesn't matter to you.
