Was wandering around with the family, somewhat tired and hungry after shopping in Soho. After looking at a few well to do spots with big price tags and those menu's you need explain to the kids, we felt something nice and relaxing & down to earth was more the go on this sort of evening. We literally had given up when we thought we'd try one last corner - and glad we did.

Just a great meal. Good sized portions, nice prices and very attentive service from the owner / manager. We all enjoyed our meals and left very satisfied.

Wouldn't hesitate in returning.

I found a review of Sullivan's Bistro online and decided to give it a try on my recent trip to NYC. The Bistro is small and comfortable with a nice menu with some comfort food favorites. I had roasted chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Very fresh and well prepared. The location was wonderful for our small gathering of friends. A perfect evening! I would highly recommend.

We stumbled on this perfect little restaurant last night and now are so thrilled that we have a neighborhood spot as our go-to dinner place. Sullivan Bistro offers a wonderful combination of great, homey food at reasonable prices, wonderful service and a lovely location. Their menu is somewhat eclectic (a mix of mediterranean, italian, french and comfort) but they full it off - the pasta dishes were delicious! The mac 'n cheese is a must (especially b/c of the bread crumb toppings). Overall, a little gem tucked away in Greenwich Village.

Went here for dinner with some friends while visiting NYC this past weekend. I prefer these little tiny restaurants, as usually they are very good, and this one fit the bill. The ambiance was nice, and it was a beautiful evening. We sat inside, but right at the open window.

The food was excellent, and it was 1/2 price wine that night (buy two dinner entrees and get ANY bottle of wine 1/2 price) - great deal. The service was very good, and the dishes the waiter recommended were delicious. The prices were extremely reasonable.

I definitely recommend it for a nice dinner spot, and would absolutely go back.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place for a quick brunch. The space was cute, if not a little close to your neighbors. The decor was a little tired. The service was pretty good but the food was blah. The salmon plate was good, but the omlette was pretty runny, and the drinks were unimpressive. And it's pretty surprising to be cash only in a major city these days.

Overall, just average. With the other special NYC eateries, I'd pass on this one.
