Description: Lido’s menu is Northern Italian. The menu can be described as fresh, simple, and delicious. Flavors are layered so that each one stands out but does not compete with others in the dish. The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely. The ambiance is modish but relaxed. We look forward to seeing you soon.

The food is amazing, seasonal, fresh, delicious. Try the gnocchi, grilled kale or arugula and pear salad burrata crostino, salted caramel crepes. All delicious. Service is friendly and professional.

“Great brunch spot in Harlem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Lido has a great menu and attentive service. It is one of the few bottomless mimosa brunch spots in the neighborhood, so it can be crowded, may want to reserve a table if you have a large party.

“Great neighborhood restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

Our family was staying at the Aloft for a family wedding. The night before the nuptials, we went to Lido for dinner at 6:30 p.m. (It's a short walk from the Aloft.) The restaurant wasn't crowded then but quickly filled up. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. There was a mix of people there--families with small children, people clearly on dates, single women at the bar. The food was quite good and the prices reasonable for the portion size (generous). Try the "Parmesan Polenta Fries with Truffle and Olive Dip" (crunchy goodness) and the "Tuscan Pizza Tart, Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Tomatoes, Basil" for starters. My son really liked the gnocchi with truffle butter; he also got a side order of veal meatballs. My mother in law got those meatballs with spaghetti; the portion was so big she couldn't finish it. One of the specials that night was lasagna with meat, which came with a side salad. My husband got it and liked it, although it seemed to me that the top layer of the lasagna was burnt. My entree of chicken Milanese was delicious-two chicken breasts with a crunchy seasoned topping, garlic mashed potatoes and an arugula salad. My son thoughtfully helped me finish the meal, since it was too much for me.

The service was attentive but I wish Lido had larger water glasses (we kept having to get refills, although after we flagged down a server once or twice, they would come by without our asking to refill our glasses.) The noise level was high (think dull roar and having to speak VERY LOUDLY to be heard), so I wouldn't choose Lido for a little intimate dinner. Other than that, I would highly recommend eating at Lido.

“Saturday Brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

The brunch menu offered a decent amount of choices. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. Those endless mimosas were definitely a perk as well. I would have liked a larger portion for the price, so I can't rave about the value. My niece actually ordered something else. All and all it is a nice restaurant and i would return.
