This review is strictly for Danji's lunch session - I did not manage to get to the dinner session. The lunch menu is kind of disappointing, a short list of maybe 7 to 8 appetizers, a shorter list of bi-bim baps and a cold noodle for entrees. Not much to choose from.
The taco bulgogi was interestingly good, but the bi bim bap was a disappointment. Rice was lukewarm and soggy, and the rest of the condiments were underwhelming in taste. Very little pork belly meat in the dish. The biggest flavor was their spicy sauce, which added a kick to the dish - otherwise, the rest of the dish is a bit bland. Maybe I am more used to the bolder more flavorful version of Korean food.
Service was unengaging, with a depressed looking hostess.
All in all a very strange experience for what used to be a 1 Michelin starred restaurant.
