The fantastic decor captures your senses as soon as you walk into the Crosby Bar in Soho, with it's delightful vibrant colored plush lounge seats with lamp lighting that gives it that cozy feeling you want for cocktail time. While I went with a small party, I could envision a group of gals nibbling on small plates and cocktails. We enjoyed the flatbreads, pulled pork bites and teeny tiny ham sandwiches. Skip the dessert and order more wine -- because the sweet potato creme brulee was a huge disappointment (tasted like baby food), the fig tart had an unappetizing stewed prune flavor and the apple tart was just so so with a very tough crust that really needed a steak knife to tear into it. I give it a high rating because with a different selection of desserts, the place could be my new favorite location to meet with everyone from clients, media, colleagues and friends.
