“Perfect anniversary dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

My husband and I dined here as part of our dinner/theater anniversary celebration. The location is very convenient for dinner before a show, we had reservations for 5:30. The outside of the restaurant is rather understated and could be deceiving, but once inside it was modern and elegant, dimly lit and perfect for a romantic dinner. We started with the escargot and foie gras - both were amazing. Our main courses were the lamb three ways and the filet mignon. The filet was slightly over medium rare, but my husband said that it was such a good cut of meat that it didn't matter. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate bombe (rich and delicious, almost like fudge) and La Silhouette sundae which was also delicious. They also surprised us with a small Happy Anniversary cookie sampler which was such a thoughtful touch!

The service was fantastic - our drinks and bread plates were always full, and the wait staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. While a bit pricey, it was everything we hoped for to celebrate a special evening and we would definitely return and recommend La Silhouette to others!

“Just blah....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

The interior is very modern and in a basement-like area... We sat in the little courtyard out back. The outside area was fine, but the entire experience was lack-luster. My salad with melon had a fan of melon slices cut so thin they were flavorless and texture less. You could read the newspaper through them! No flavor in the salad at all. ( off to a bad start) my entree of lobster in a Chardonnay buerre blanc with smoked corn puree was quite good. My husband had duck breast in Szechuan black cherry sauce with black sticky rice. He said it was good but not outstanding. We did not have dessert...I just wanted to get out of there. Will not go back... Just a mediocre experience.

“Great tasting food and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

We went there with a baby sleeping in its stroller. Not only did they welcome us in with the stroller by the table, we got our own room with dimmed light and lowered background music.

Food tasted great, we had the fixed price three course dinner.

Would definitely recommend this place to people with or without children.

“Excellent for pre-theater dining.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Sleek, modern decor and smooth service. The prix fixe dinner was excellent. Only part of the amuse bouche, a shrimp fritter was great; the other part was iffy...cilantro soup.
