Can't say for sure if this restaurant caters solely for tourists, but we stumbled upon this small restaurant for lunch, hoping for a quick bite. We were tempted with the grab-and-go slices, but ended up getting a table and shared a Margarita pie with prosciutto, washed down with 3 diet cokes from a soda fountain. The brick oven-fired pizza was very good and the price reasonable, and we did not regret eating here. Our server was friendly, quick and efficient. Because of the small dining room, parties turned over quickly...this isn't necessarily a linger-over-lunch type of place (of course I'm sure they won't kick you out.)
A few notes: refills are NOT free; they serve alcohol here too, as we saw glasses of wine and bottled beer being served. Also, there is already a service charge of 15% included in the check, so adjust your gratuity accordingly.
We definitely were very satisfied with our visit here and should we find ourselves in need of pizza in the Times Square area, we would not hesitate to head here.
